It took all day, but I fixed a bunch of bugs including when I broke Android after I got it working.

This will be styled better later, but it works.

News on when Alpha begins will be coming when ready (not sure when that will be yet).

I have working chat now!

IMs, Local Chat, and Group Chat all seem to work just fine.

I'll continue cleaning up before starting on what's left before it's ready for Alpha!

I now have a working address bar and the ability to navigate with it!

Now on to getting chats working.

I was so caught up in styling and UX choices that I forgot what really matters at this pint of development - getting features working.

I or someone else can always change the styling so it looks more amazing later.

Focusing more heavily on getting things working now!

I was finally able to login on Android!

Now, to get data about everything going on to display!

Chat and navigation are the two most critical things to get working at the moment.

Login including MFA works now. I haven't testing that on mobile yet but it works on desktop so I assume it's the same.

Now I can begin work on the Welcome view that you see after signing in, as well as making improvements to the login code.

Development on my open source projects may slow down in the next month or two due to my moving to a safer location and working to save up as much money as I possibly can to support myself.

Expect development to pick up drastically over the summer months. For example, my @galaxyviewer.com project.

I bartered an old PC and and some misc items for a used Oculus 2, so now yes, VR support for @galaxyviewer.com will arrive after I build out the 3D World View. Which will be after I'm happy with everything 2D enough to switch gears.

So yes, eventually, more #SecondLife possibilities in VR.

Will it run in a web browser?

This is something that will be tested before the beta release. It may be possible to run GalaxyViewer in a web browser using WebAssembly. The cost of hosting, however, may be prohibitive.

Progress report on GalaxyViewer:

Data about the avatar and world is now stored and viewed throughout the app!

Next is to get MFA fully functioning, the local chat working, and to flesh out the initial logged-in view. :D

Progress so far:
- Have logged in successfully on Desktop and Android
- Have layouts that work well for both as well

Next:
- Build out the layout for local chat access and get that working
- Fix the menu on Android

Still a very heavy Work In Progress and is not ready for public testing yet.

This is the current login view I'm testing with. The second dropdown will be for selecting the grid to login to.

Window is resizable, and I'm trying to get it to compile and install on my Android phone so I'll be able to test the local chat once that's added.

Development of GalaxyViewer is still underway. I've recently reworked the website to make things easier to read, as well as add more information on ways to support development.

The homepage will be updated soon.
