Just now at a press conference: Everett Mayor Carlo DeMaria referred to Everett Leader Herald as “nothing more than a corrupt enterprise” after being awarded a defamation settlement that includes $1.1 million in damages & secures the permanent shutdown of the Leader Herald paper within 7 days.
