The morning sun bathed their creation in backlit light and the breeze made them sway ever so gently. I tried to capture their fleeting beauty and translucency. #flowerpainting

I am happy to announce that I will have a couple of paintings in the upcoming 37th Annual Juried Old Church Fine Arts Show and Sale at the San Ysidro Church in Corrales. 25% of the proceeds will go to the preservation of the historic church building.

I started this one on location in the Bosque close by Tingley Beach in Albuquerque, and then finished it in the Studio. It was late in the afternoon, the sun was low and everything had a slightly golden shimmer.
