We are roughly at 80 days to the end of the year.

I would recommend to help yourself reaching your goals with small measurable progress you can look at every other day. Those should build up to bigger milestones and help you keeping momentum.

Don't set the bar too high from the start!

I didn't expect n8m to be this fun. I just started a few workflows, and 2.5 hours went by so fast. I think I actually got done way more than I thought I would. Pretty impressive!

I forgot where I picked this up, maybe from "Writing to Learn" where it was recommending to understand and analyze why you like or why you dislike something. I started to better articulate why I like a blog post, a movie, a show, a book and found patterns of what I find to be good.

I've been off social media for so long that I forgot how good BlueSky can be with custom feeds. So nice!

Finally regaining my sanity with a lot of offline activities. It's quite refreshing. You should try it! I think even just doodling is a good start.

There's really such a wide variety of points of view when it comes to AI and vibe coding. I joined an AI lunch event just a few days ago and ideas and opinions were flying around without pause, exciting times to be in the industry and connect with others.

I end up doing a lot of writing that doesn't get published anywhere. It helps me find out how some ideas seem clear to me, until I put them in writing.

I'm going to be a broken record but please, don't let AI do the thinking for you.

There's another thing that worries me at times about LLMs. As Engineers it is good practice to have a hypothesis before you drive an effort. It's an excellent way to test yourself and develop better intuition.

"I believe X is happening because of Y. If I try to do Z I expect W to happen".
