Also, I actually don't know anyone that calls it, "X". Ex-twitter, or just Twitter. 🤙
OTOH, maybe we have a responsibility to challenge their views. Their echo chamber won't do it. I've set two relatives straight about our "immigration problem" recently. It wasn't pleasant, but they honestly just believed Mr Rogan and friends without question. Now they're critical thinkers once more.

If you’re white, your accomplishments are your own and you can resent and criticize the country all you like, but if you’re black and successful you should be grateful to white people for allowing you in their presence. bsky.app/profile/jess...
Weaponized gratitude is a key tool in the abuser's toolkit. The goal is to convince the victim that they owe the abuser so much, they should feel guilty for wanting to complain.
Love it. Here's a ditty for to give a listen while you wait for the red tape to roll.

Also, Bezos (and by extension, WaPo) is all about kissing Trump's ass and licking boots, so forget giving them clucks or any attention. Keep bleeding subscribers and journalists in your fascist wet dream, Jeff.
Why didn't YOU link the original reporting? Pot, meet Kettle.
Most LMS these days are just thinly disguised portals into previously-protected student data. They don't have to work for students and instructors, just the data brokers and book publishers.
They were just saying, "Thank you it's not me getting arrested in this authoritarian state," as opposed to thanking them for their service.

Feels like "payment processor Stripe admits to being an anti LGBTQ hate group" should be an actual headline somewhere.
and to be clear, i was very clear in asking "can i use stripe for purchases of LGBT content" and both times, different operators have told me that Stripe does not support such transactions

theyre not even playing the "oh our brand doesnt discriminate!" song and dance
Terrific when, "Think of the children!!!" can actually mean, "let me use taxpayer money to finance my private jet!!!"

Took the missus out on a late night date/walk through the second largest cemetery in the state last night. We enjoyed having the 100 acres all to ourselves as we padded silently from shadow to shadow. No we didn't avoid "where is civil society heading?" musings. Yes we felt removed from society.
Right. Bribe him! Appeal to his vanity! Send crypto! Buy his bible! Wear his gold shoes! Move operations back to the USA! And now: appeal to his "wife," as if he reliably defers to anyone. No, this is just another "ten things your president likes," on the cover of "President Bop" magazine.
Where/how is social media implicated? Perhaps it's growing up with a feeble narcissist in the highest position of power, never held accountable for any of his several felonies, high crimes and insurrection? Social media seems to be the only way my HS senior son can contact his peers 7/10 days.
We need more representatives who aren't beholden to the consolidated power establishment. @katmabu.bsky.social isn't out there pretending science is based on questionable opinions, to name but one desirable trait. Katforillinois.com #KatForPresident
Get off SubStack @andrew-yang.bsky.social it's a Nazi bar.
Recycling plastic is only a distraction. Putting the burden onto the public is hella convenient for those poor plastics manufacturers with their tiny profits. Plastic is super cheap and hugely profitable. This is possible only when the public thinks it's their problem to solve.
Can I forget that TS exists and just think about him croaking instead?
