Remember ReSharper?

ReSharper in 2012: “That’s not real coding.”
AI in 2025: writes your code, answers standup, flirts with your coworker’s spouse. "Seems legit."
Python is the Danny Brown of computer languages both been around for a while but in 2025 they got sober, got ripped, and now that shit slaps more than ever.

Things you update with impunity? (for me, Git, VS Code, Notion...) Install with Homebrew. Or your equiv on your system.

If you're picky about a tool and want controlled updates, install it natively.

That way you can schedule a weekly "brew upgrade" and prevent wasting mental cycles on worrying.

GitHub Universe 25. Two predictions for CoPilot and an anti-prediction.

1. Speed increase. They've got to.
2. Way larger context windows.

LinkedIn recruiters looking for engagement love to bully job seekers.

The takes are don't hire this guy because "he discussed salary" or "there was a cat."

The only actual offense here is that the recruiter is using Microsoft Teams.

It won't "work on your machine" when you're fishing your machine out from the bottom of a pond.

Every day someone installs node from nodejs dot org, joins a dev team, and wonders why nothing works on their machine.
