#FossilFriday From the black ‘marble’ floor of the Immigration Museum in Melbourne, a horizontally sectioned productid brachiopod and a solitary rugose coral enveloped by a syringoporid coral. The stone looks to be European Carboniferous but I would welcome any feedback.

Using the mechanosensitive probe Flipper-TR to visualize tension across the plasma membrane of adherent cells and to dissect the conditions needed for a gradient to happen

For the first time in my career, I can’t tell people to trust what the CDC website says. And that is an incredibly sad and devastating place for this country to be.
