where they take gold
and repair broken pieces
of art, pottery

The finish product is stronger
than the original vase, bowl,
plate or cup

That feels like people
who have been hurt,
and start
to heal in their own way

Out of darkness
comes light,
before death
comes life
out of nothing
comes something

We are the resilient people
we will survive
and grow ourselves,
and our children
doing the best
we can

We will survive
and eventually
the darkness
we are in
will open up to light

We are living in strange times. I do hold hope
that the R party will implode and justice will prevail.
