the more literal fan translation opts for "that does not mean i won't do the best i can!" for the text. but i prefer tokyopop's approach on this one. it sounds more natural and gets the same meaning across

the same kodocha manga page, but the text is translated instead as "that does not mean i won't do the best i can!"

yes exactly!!! "chemical fume-like" is so well said, it jars me in a way because it reads in my mind as "artificial" but its like BRO you're grown from this earth!! the soil!! it feels contradictory even tho it's not

it's easy to forget the plot details and see the "sky" in motorcity as stars... but then you really look at it and augh

a screenshot from disney xd 2012 series "motorcity" showing the ""sky"" which is really just the underside of deluxe. it's blocky, indicating multiple structures locked together, and occasionally has lights similar to what you'd see on the inside of technology (circuit boards etc). theres three square openings

in the fall of 2019 i listened to this very solemn song about unattainable love nonstop. and i'm sure if someone caught a glimpse of me doing this, they'd have thought i was going through a breakup or something. but naw i was thinking of my ocs, cause it really fits them!

originally i thought i just needed time to adjust, but i had a 3 month period where i didn't have regular access to my computer and drew on procreate every day for several hours.... and i still didn't get used to it. it's just not for me fr.

memory from when i was 4: my mom was struggling to choose the color for a purse she was buying. she liked the blue, pink, and green options equally, so asked for my opinion. its the early 2000s so i see those colors and think of the powerpuff girls, so i told her to buy green cause buttercup rules
