I have a plot from start to finish where I write all the chapters planned for it at the same time. Then they'll be done at same time!

Solved the root cause.
It seems I have been surrounded by non-vanilla people for so long that my own stuff feels tame in comparison to them.
I'm just less of a pervert than my friends are! I'm maybe 30% to their 90%.
That makes a lot of sense tbh.
