Since Nov, I’ve been part-timing at a gig where I rewrote 2 public-facing apps, 3 internal backoffice tools, and 2 apps for documenting product integration. All built with Next.js, NextAuth, shadcn and Tailwind CSS , with v0 the speed to build ui it’s just out of this world, loving this times!

Got handover a small react app last week. It was so awful I rewrote in next. The result is -2k lines of code. Faster better and most importantly simple.

Pig butchering is real. Tan Tan dating app is full of asian women ready to scam you. Do not trust anyone there and ask straight away : if you see anything like my screenshot below, block report and laugh. This the 3rd one already I encountered so far 🤣🤣. They don’t know I’m Spanish 🥷… hahah

Recently we got handover from a small react app. Was built with bootstrap and styled components- bloody spaghetti madness. Migrated to tailwind we reduced literally 30% of the code. My brain can’t comprehend why in 2025 this is happening. Work smart not hard. Make your life easier for f sake.

Replacing redux-saga with react-query simply makes things trivial and easy. Reduce the code like 80%. Throwing a context if need to preserve some data but still so much intuitive.

Rewriting / build @nextjs.org react apps with @shadcn.com and @vercel.com s v0.dev it’s a dream come true. The more I use it the more I love it. 😊

One of my previous jobs decided to rebuild the nextjs react app into Ruby on Rails, a highly interactive web app, they sold to the business to get done in 2 months. After 2 months only the login page was done and no client side validation. I’m still laughing. Ruby in 20 minutes! Ah and like 1k LOC 🤣

Doing lambdas recently and all happy days… fast as f. Love everything about it….until I have to run 8 to 10 locally… to power a checkout widget, at this rate my m2 is going to blow up
