Have you ever heard of an allonautilus? The fuzzy sea peach at the top of my oil painting is the extremely rare allonautlius. Its only been documented in the wild a couple of times.

Still a long way to go, but I feel good about my progress last week on this 2’x3’ painting. Getting things the right amount of blurry is hard, and spot-correcting a gradient is infuriating.
