Anticipatory grief is mourning a loss before it happens, a loved one’s health, a life change, or letting go of an old version of yourself. It’s valid and deserves space. Let’s explore how to navigate this journey with compassion and resilience. #AnticipatoryGrief #GriefSupport #HealingJourney

Ambiguous loss leaves us grieving without closure, like missing someone who’s still alive or feeling the absence of what once was. It’s a complex, unseen grief that deserves space to be acknowledged and healed.

This time of year can magnify what’s missing, but it’s so important to be gentle with yourself. All feelings are acceptable, even the uncomfortable ones. You’re not ‘failing’ if you’re not feeling joyful or festive, it’s okay to honor where you are right now

This is especially true during the holidays, a time that can bring both joy and challenges.
ACT reminds us that discomfort, whether it’s stress, grief, or uncertainty, doesn’t have to stop us from living in tune with our values.
Meaning often grows in the presence of both the light and the shadows.

Grief and celebration can coexist, they don’t cancel each other out. You might find yourself laughing with loved ones one moment and tearing up at a memory the next. That’s okay. There’s no “right” way to feel during the holidays.
