Bit of advice please

What is the best way to gauge likely captaincy % ahead of the deadline?

FF scout poll is what i'm currently looking at.

The question 'who is the best captain' (ffs poll) versus 'who will you be captaining' is a small detail but feels like it increases Haaland % above

Reality will be a bit more one sided to Salah as people choose players they may not own in this poll?

Seems nearly 50/50 Sal v Pal on numbers so a lot comes down to risk reward tolerance if you don't have a strong view

Martinelli. I don't get it.

His returns to mins ratio in general is not great, what is suddenly expected to change? Not like Odegaard where he's getting extra set pieces now.

For short term punts, Jota seems similar xMins but much higher likelihood of returning to me.

Quite surprised to see VVD as 4th most transferred defender this gw (no offence!)

I'd only really fancy them to keep a cs v LEI out of next 7 (con..)

My main thoughts on Assistant Manager is that it's an incredibly powerful chip. Couple of points:

1) Points on offer versus probability. Manager v player. Take a fixture like Arsenal v Leicester. Arsenal have a 80%+ chance of winning that match for min 7pts (prob nearer 10) for Arteta (cont..)

This was confusing to an FPL nerd who didn't know Benny Blanco was a famous songwriter @bennyblanco40.bsky.social

Sticking with this as Haaland my preferred captain this week. O.4m in bank. Gives me 3 FT next week, likely switch in Palmer for Haaland and spread funds. Good luck all
