This event was a fantastic opportunity to share more about the work we do and the importance of collaboration. We look forward to continuing the valuable conversations that took place.
Clara attended an inspiring few days at the Blue Earth Summit, where she led a workshop on financing holistic landscape-scale restoration together with Penelope and Ellie from Commonland, using the Forth Catchment as a case study!
• Coordinate treatment with neighbours
• Volunteer to learn how to control INNS
• Avoid moving soil or plant material from infested areas

Thanks to @westlothiancouncil.bsky.social & Clackmannanshire Council for funding our control efforts. Together we’re tackling Knotweed along our rivers 🌊
Volunteers such as those from Murieston Environmental Group have been vital in helping us stay one step ahead.

Japanese knotweed (Fallopia japonica) is one of our more persistent INNS: spreading fast and weakening riverbanks when it dies back in winter.

Our team has been out across the Almond and Devon catchments surveying last year’s treatment sites and tracking down new hotspots.
Taste produce from these amazing local suppliers:
