To Move in Time will be at Temporada Alta, Barcelona on 24 & 25 Oct

To Move in Time is a dizzying monologue written by @Tim_Etchells for performer and collaborator Tyrone Huggins, in which an unnamed protagonist speculates playfully about what he’d do if he were able to travel backwards and forwards in time.

Imagine you can travel through time. Backwards and Forwards. What would you do?

Jérôme Bel by Jérôme Bel, Mon 3 Nov 7.30pm @performancevenuessheff

A blend of filmed dance documentation, monologue, and live restaging, this unexpected evening is both a survey of past creation and a gesture of constant reinvention.

There is an exceptional opportunity top see FE founder member, Terry O'Connor playing Jérôme Bel in the Sheffield production of his career retrospective called his ‘auto-bio-choreo-graphy’.

For ecological reasons, Bel no longer tours, instead he is played by a different performer in each location.

Signal to Noise is part of @autumnmeteorite in Tokyo this October.

An upbeat spectacle which is slowly breaking apart, Signal to Noise summons a delirious late-night churn of fragments – dances, rehearsals, altercations and unexpected weather reports.

Mixing performance magic and off-hand deconstruction conjuring a unique space for the thoughts, laughter and reflections of spectators.

"Mind blowing… dizzying virtuosity… Forced Entertainment's sense of burlesque has accents of an undeniable darkness in this devastating show",  Le Monde

Tim comments that "we’re brought together by a mutual belief that art, performance and stories all play a vital part in in the richness and diversity of the city we live and work in.”

Six people stand in a line in a white room. Boxes and drapes can be seen behind them. Three people smile as they stand in front of a white tiled wall. Eight people smile down from a staircase set against red brick and red leaded windows. Over the handrail, colourful fabric is draped. Six people and a dog smile as they stand together in a woodland. The photo is in black and white.

Last week we enjoyed a 2-day workshop with the fabulous young people from @sayitsheffield. We had loads of fun working with big questions, songs and movement and of course, karaoke! We were also joined by @garyclarkeco and are looking forward to our trip to see their show, Detention, in September.
