If there's one thing ive learned working in so many premiere timelines over the years, is use "black video" more than you think you should. Croplines, fades to black, opacity masks, etc. Keeps your sequences so much cleaner for future use, and less prone to errors.

I made a custom visor shape for Zero's Code Geass helmet! The form is a 3D print that I modeled to be slightly smaller than the helmet hole (for the plastic thickness). I tinted the visor in heated polyester fabric dye.

When Hypershock auctioned off damaged Battlebot parts, we had to purchase a wheel! Now we need a worthy display for such a magnificently damaged wheel. @battlebots.bsky.social @hypershocktv.bsky.social #battlebots

I had so much fun figuring out the mechanism for my Fallout 4 Nuke Launcher! I was worried the mini nuke would end up getting "kicked" instead of "pushed" but it worked out great! #fallout

A few years ago, we restored a set of sleigh bells from Britt's family farm house. We had enough bells to make three door hanging sets for family presents!

We used a brass wire wheel to transfer brass back onto the heated surface and it worked great!

Today, I got to cut an alpha-mask for @philsalv.bsky.social 's head. Also, if you can support the VGHF, you should, because they do awesome work.
Our good friends at the VGHF are running a Winter Fundraiser right now, and Cyan has pitched in to help them crush their goal. If you would like to help too, please visit them at the link below - Let's keep them doing what they do best!

Back in 2018, Adam Savage needed a pair of visors for his ACES space suit costume for his NYCC incognito walk. Bill and Britt had never made visors this large, so it took a few attempts!

We made the porcupine mace from Valheim! The deathsquito needles in the game are super dangerous, so we wanted to make sure ours couldn't one-shot humans. #Valheim

For the metallic finish on my Mandalorian helmet, I buffed on graphite powder! I protected the finish with a gloss clear coat and then used water-mixable oil paints to add some contrast.
