There are some people who seem to see the recovery of ecosystems in a deforested waste as a personal affront. It's about power, and different landscapes reflect the different ways in which power is distributed - or concentrated.

I live in Tasmania, if only our Federal govt’s claims were backed up by real action on fossil fuels and protection of ecologies like Macquarie Harbour where salmon farming continues with full govt support and the Maugean Skate declines into extinction.
