Relistening to an episode of This American Life about how the uncommitted were ignored by the DNC because of their support for Palestine. This may have one of the reasons she lost but at the time they really believed this was the way to go, ignore the genocide.

I know that eventually this Australian government will condemn Israel for committing genocide but will be too late. They’ll say “before it wasn’t the right time” but I’ll never let them forget which side of history they stood.

I think it’s grossly inappropriate that ANZAC celebrations do not include Turkish people like Remembrance Day in Europe brings together both sides. The Anzacs invaded a new country for the colonial interests of another power, and don’t even acknowledge them
