Every year, SFO completes a full-scale, emergency exercise to ensure the Airport is ready for anything.
This year's exercise simulated a water crash and took place on the Bay just beyond the Airport runways. 🦺🛟🚁

Our newest exhibition “Give Me a Ring: A Telephone Retrospective” is now on display in Terminal 2.
Early types of telephones ranged from large wooden wall telephones to candlestick desk sets. The rotary dial telephone, with a handset on its base, permeated American homes by the 1930s. #GiveMeARing

For this show, our exhibition designer tried a different approach for displaying the objects. Instead of using custom-cut Mylar sheets to protect the telephone cords from the painted risers and decks, the team decided to use full acrylic plexiglass sheets to protect the entire object.

Roy Bozeman remembers two paintings in his home when he was growing up in Houston. The artist used natural media like sticks and leaves to compose incredibly realistic landscapes. After going to art school in Houston, Bozeman explored using unusual materials to make his art. #ArtWithElders
