I hate hotkeys. There is nothing more frustrating than thinking you clicked on a spot and you start typing and just screw up a bunch of shit by accident and you don't even know what keys you hit to unfuck it.
hotkeys should always be a combination. ALT+something. CTRL+SHIFT+whatever. fuck the rest.

The thing about CrunchyRoll’s enshittification is that normally I’m a big proponent of supporting official channels but if the money from subscriptions isn’t being used to pay talent and labour and the quality suffers as a result, then morally what’s the purpose of supporting those official means?

I like the intellectual property as much as the next guy, but I don't think we need more Dead Rising games. I think we've done all we can do with it and the story doesn't matter enough to be the driving force for continuation. innovating will not be dead rising. they might as well make a new thing.

a while ago I watched this reunion of all the ADV eva dub actors, and a thing that got across was that the people getting together to do the dub and put in the localization work is a big part of the identity of the show's translation. it's the heart and soul of it. humans doing the dub is important.
