Jayce kept the bindings on his wings tight and his gala smile always at the ready. Picture perfect. But underneath this facade he's terrified he won't be good enough to take Hextech as far as it needs to go.

With Viktor relying on him to be the public face of Hextech the pressure on him only gets worse. And his inconvenient feelings for his lab partner have his avian instincts threatening his self-control.

OUGH OUCH. MY HEART. jayce (a character who is routinely incorrectly ascribed aggressive characteristics despite being an obviously gentle, loving man) as a pitbull (a breed that is *constantly* misattributed as aggressive when, in reality, they are gentle, loving babies) is so !!!!!!! poignant!!!

soulmate au where the initials of your soulmate in their handwriting are somewhere on your body. viktor immediately recognizes Jayce’s iconic “JT” from each page of his journal as the mark on his own forearm. he doesn’t want to be the one to bring it up, always being sure to wear long sleeves.
