Ever since moving abroad I've noticed my British accent getting stronger somehow?

But on the other hand, I now will accidentally use the German L sound in English. What a mess :P

A few weeks ago, a friend and I were passed by a cyclist who let out the most bass-boosted burp you could imagine, just as he passed us.

It was almost too well timed and it took us a long moment to realise what the sound was.

Don't fret! Especially in academic environments, these people write references a lot and are very used to it. They are more than happy to do so in most cases. I asked some of my previous supervisors for references super often and it was perfectly fine. Don't think about it too much ^^

I can't remember what it was called, but I tried some German Beer when stopping at Munich once, and it was so nice that I drunk it way too fast and had to stumble my way back tipsy to the train station x)

Made a salad with the majority of the ingredients (by mass) grown in the garden by me! 🌱

Used courgettes, french beans, runner beans and tomatoes - all from the garden - and then added a pesto/lemon juice vinaigrette, and some almond flakes :)
