I will have to say limiting my time on social media before this album dropped was the best decision because I dont have to hear all the truly shitty takes about this album being bad bc the lyricism isnt there etc. What I hears was "I liked her better when she wanted to die" and I'll say no thanks

If anyone has a good video/article/reel etc on how Opalite is a racist song please do link it to me! As far as I have seen (I didnt know about this take until today) it's her saying "sleepless through the onyx (black) night, but now the sky is opalite (white-ish)" and I am confused by that?

If my work place ever complains about the high rate of sick people I'll just point them to the broken gate which can not be closed and is open 24/7 while it's 8C here

Sometimes I really miss twitter for all the excitement when we got new announcements or someone put 2 and 2 together.
But then I hear about this kind of stuff and I am very, VERY glad that I dont use it anymore (besides deliberately saying "lets see what twitter says about xzy")

I hope it gives her an outlet for her feelings. Because Taylors music truly is for everyone. She has a song for very specific situations, yet they somehow are relatable to everyone. And I hope that young girl grows up to realize that.

Who knows if that girl will grow up to be a singer or writer. But I hope she doesn't let others tell her that she can't love Taylor just because they don't. And I hope that when times are rough she can turn to Taylors music and find comfort in them. Or scream the lyrics in anger. (Cont)

She had gone to watch the movie with a friend and the line that made me pay attention was: "Im just glad at least one of my friends doesnt hate Taylor Swift."

Both times I had friendship bracelets with me - of course! - and got to trade some before the "movie" started. The second time I went, I have a handful of bracelets left over.

Especially Tears of the Nameless is basically perfect! I know a lot of people who said this is their favorite book of the phase or THR in general (me included). So it's definitely worth it :)

I do agree with you in saying Temptation isn't the strongest THR book 😅 I don't think I have seen anyone say it is their favorite book. For different reasons obviously, but Avar does feel a bit flat in there, I agree.

But keep pushing though because the other books are amazing!! (Cont)

Comics are really hard for me to read which is why I don't really feel anything for Lourna or Keeve.

Thinking about it, maybe I see Avar differently because I have talked about her with my friends a lot. And maybe thats why I am not that harsh on her (cont)

I totally get your point. I loooved Avar in TLOJ and then struggled to connect with her in the comics because I dont enjoy comics as much (cont)

But I'm comparing it to the ROTS novel where Padme is literally just Anakins wife. And says about herself "I was a queen and am a senator, i have fought in the clone wars but the single most important thing about me is that I am Anakins wife" 😭
