I'm building a little set so I can have a nice background for filming some throwing videos. My studio is just not that **aesthetic** being in a metal building with spray foam haha.
Rearranging my pottery studio. It has so much more room now! The old layout felt like a lot of the space was not usable and I ended up with too many junk tables. Still gotta put everything away and make it nice, build a bit more storage.
My carpet stairs are extremely slippery if I land on them the wrong way. It only happens maybe 1 time out of 1000, but I've ended up on my butt several times out of the blue. My boyfriend thinks I'm crazy.
If you didn't know you can just do that, you totally can. It costs about $300 for the semester for me. I can enroll in anything I want by just telling the prof/advisors I'm not degree seeking. They waive all prerequisites if you just ask.
Signed up for a Japanese class through my local community college. I love college, I miss being a student full time. Maybe someday I'll go back, but for now, I am just doing one class a semester, after work or on the weekends. It's especially nice now that I am not pursuing a degree.
Be the change! I agree, though, I hate Gildan. Comfort Colors please! I'm willing to pay for good art on a shirt, please use a quality blank. I tell every artist I buy from who uses nice blanks that I really appreciate it.
The pieces from my pottery painting party are out of the kiln! They're so fun. I was very excited to see how they would come out. The mug in front is mine, the rest were decorated by friends.
