Good morning and welcome to tuna Tuesday

Don’t look back
You’re not walking that way

What’s behind you has already taught you what you needed to know & today is where your strength is

Chin up, focus forward, and keep going.
You’ve got this and today is lucky to have you.

2025 brought the transformation of a wonky, flooding 'patio' into a fabulous "Terrace". Amazing how quickly green returns. #Gardenshour #Gardening

A small reminder, especially if you struggle with low mood in the winter, that this is just 8 or 9 weeks away, fewer in some cases 👇🏼🌱🌱

This camellia seems to be getting ahead of itself. Positively glowed on this damp and dull day. #Gardenshour #Gardening

The dahlias are out of the pots. Wow, they had bulked up. Great to be able to get on with the tulips. Mixing the compost is like making a rich cake, yum! #Gardenshour #Gardening

Good morning & welcome to #Caturday

There’s someone out there who still remembers you.

Not because of how you looked or what you did, but because, when no one else showed up with kindness, you did.

Kindness always matters

Elected in 1972 as the first openly gay politician in the UK, Sam Green served his community with commitment and courage, and we’re proud that Ed Davey was there to unveil a plaque in his honour.

Today on Trans Day of Remembrance we remember those who have lost their lives to transphobic violence, and reflect on how we as a society can end this loss of life.

Winter sheen on the pond. I read that pond skaters can be found up trees in winter. Good at flying apparently. #Gardening #Pondlife #Gardenwildlife

Some plants, like this royal fern, fade beautifully. I'm not very good with indoor plants. They feel a bit like caged animals to me. #Gardenshour #Gardening

Please don't cut back shrubs and hedgerows until wildlife has taken all the autumn berries! Hawthorn, for example, is a fantastic source of food for birds - including blackbirds, thrushes and (if the weather gets very cold) waxwings.
