I was surprised when I watched a show the other day. There are several Canadian companies that make parts for all the F35’s. I worry that cancelling the entire order may cause more of our companies to collapse.

Totally agree. I’m exhausted from seeing and hearing about the US everywhere I turn. Their news, their politics, their celebrities, their movies, it dominates everything. I’d rather choose when I want to hear about them, not have it forced into every part of our media.

Honouring British Home Child Day by remembering my great-grandfather, Albert Edward Barrett. Orphaned at 6, sent to Canada at 11 to work as a farmhand with wages withheld by Barnardo’s. He died at 31. Canada has acknowledged but not apologized for this history.
