I think I'm starting to accept that human characters aren't for me in pixel art because I compare them to my digital art portraits too much and see a disconnection in skills. Can I practice? Obviously, but I'm trying to figure out if I want to put my focus elsewhere with pixels!

Ahh makes total sense! I think I focused too much on making the colors look nice overall without thinking enough about how players read the space.

Tysm for the insight, definitely gave me something to think about! I’ll play around more with value separation to keep it readable and nice looking 🫡
