You never forget your first.

Last week I attended the #CoastalFutures2025 Conference in London and walked away with my first ever award - the Bob Earll Award for early career impact in ocean and coastal management.

What a ‘pinch me’ moment!

The first whale(s) I’ve ever seen with my own eyes in the wild! 🐋

We came by two pods of short-finned pilot whales whilst exploring Saint Lucia. Not too long after, we spotted a mother sperm whale teaching her calf how to dive. Breathtaking.
