It seems like there is never enough space in our old farmhouse, so we took some dormer space in our attic to create a fairly comfortable guest bedroom. Like many things in our house it has a Western/Cowboy theme using some of my antique and vintage items.

I’m getting excited about my Halloween costume. I made the paper deer mask last year, then decided to make the antlers and ears three dimensional after I saw what @clarkrogers.bsky.social did with his mask. He did most of the paper mache work and now I’m painting it to resemble a gold

I’ve spent years collecting & curating furniture, art and antiques, and when it comes to my personal decor, I’m definitely not a minimalist. I just added two 1960’s paint-by-number pieces and an old print from my grandpa’s farmhouse to the grouping in our bathroom.

On my drive to the farm & feed store, I pass this magnificent Sycamore tree. I decided to stop and take some photos. It’s huge. Larger than the big maples nearby.

Back in 2017, a buddy took these photos of me while hiking in a nearby state park. I was working in the custom cabinetry & furniture industry, was fairly low-tech and living off the grid.
