It's an emotionally difficult choice to leave X/Meta/Spotify/Amazon etc. more than anything but highly intelligent to take all energy away from platforms, platforms that actively undermine democracy (if we value democracy that is)

Since leaving the toxic social media platform this past spring, NPR has seen its online traffic dip by a single percentage point.
