I agree. Walker does awesome in certain venues, just not at home. Paredes is a great dude to have in the lineup.

Even tho the Dodgers won the WS without much starting pitching, I think that's still the foundation of everything else. If Framber's not back, we've got just Diesel and a ton of question marks. Blubaugh deserves a shot. If we can get Costanza to come back on a one-year, that would be worth it.

Although it's a big bummer to be out, especially after so many years, having a bit of a longer break surely won't hurt. I do wonder what they'll do with Correa / Paredes. Trade Paredes? Can he play first base, meaning we'd trade Walker? Walker seems like a strong hitter, just not at Daikin.

Agreed. After all, we were only a game away. I think teams always need luck in the health department to win a title, and we mos def didn't. Yordan gone for almost the whole year, Pena / Meyers / Paredes / Hader gone for the bad last two months of the year, only Diesel and Framber healthy starters

Why are we still kicking PATs?

The #XFL's idea of no-kick, must-choose-1-or-2-or-3-point-conversions is brilliant. They introduced it back in 2020.

It'll make the game soooooo much more interesting; PATs won't be just a sign to run to the bathroom before everyone else #NFL #HoustonTexans

I don't remember much from my 4 semesters of Hebrew in grad school, back in the late 1990s, when I was prepping for church work. But I do recall #RoshHashanah means, lit., "head of the year."

Sometimes, when we see footballers like Haaland and Aguero, we almost perceive them as demigods. But when we see Phil Foden, we see ourselves. Don't get me wrong; he's brilliant! But growing up as a Blue and winning trophies as a Blue, he has a special place in our hearts. He's one of us.
