Gonna echo it here - I don't think Ambrose and Thancred ever marry
Ambrose doesn't feel the need to prove his love with a stupid ceremony
And Thancred is terrified of failure and marriage is a commitment - it's a thing you can fail at
They love each other fiercely and that's enough for them

Gonna echo it here - I don't think Ambrose and Thancred ever marry
Ambrose doesn't feel the need to prove his love with a stupid ceremony
And Thancred is terrified of failure and marriage is a commitment - it's a thing you can fail at

of power and control over his own body when he otherwise lacks it. So it feels good and brings him pleasure
He's a sadomasochist, but leans much heavier on the masochist side of things because it helps him to recontextualize pain and derive something other than suffering from it
