Even still, if it touches my tongue I start to gag - it's like there's a dairy radar on my tongue or something. Most certainly not the path in life I would have chosen, especially considering how hard it is just to order food or how much it's ostracized me from others.

I'm lactose intolerant and when it developed it basically changed my taste buds to develop aversions to most dairy products. Even the smell of cheese can make me nauseous. It's definitely not a life I chose, but unfortunately tis the one I have to live.

My lactose intolerance developed as my taste buds were changing and my body basically built taste aversions to most dairy. Cheese is just a constant thorn in my side. Cream cheese is actually the very worst. Having to always be the odd one out on food plans has not always been fun.
