(not fully connected images) Although it's a bit rough that they toned down the flashback with Alear already being injured in it, i do enjoy the fact the memory came in with Lumera reminding him of the promise and ending with her wishing him happy birthday. It's painful yet sweet

I think if Alfred had gone for the kiss i would've EXPLODED. But ngl that he instead chooses to do it his way, even if it might seem less "romantic" is really sweet imo
