Hi, I’m bru. I write things. Some of those things were published long ago.
Due to chronic ill health I mostly write flash and poetry now. I’ve often been told I’m a cartoon character: I may in fact be a Muppet. Love music, art, books. 📚

I haven’t been sleeping enough. I’m definitely hypomanic. But the pain in my body keeps me from burning off nervous energy. Frustrating cycle.
I hope today was kind to you and tomorrow will be kinder.

I haven’t been sleeping enough. I’m definitely hypomanic. But the pain in my body keeps me from burning off nervous energy. Frustrating cycle.
I hope today was kind to you and tomorrow will be kinder.

A twist on the ‘describe yourself in five concerts’ thing… name one band you wish you could see in concert.
For me: U2. We even had tickets once but my panic and fear of the large stadium crowd kept me from actually going to the show. Still regret that.
My concert going days are behind me.

I am ugly because of health issues and losses I’ve suffered over the years. My aphakia glasses make my eyes look cartoonishly huge. I’m missing some teeth due to a bad dentist years ago and can’t get implants. I’ve lost 2 1/2 inches of height to osteoporosis. Med weight gain. 😔

I hate my mixed bag of mental and physical health crap. I hit 40 and got diagnosed with SO. MUCH. CRAP, and I feel like some of it could/should have been caught years before. I get so pointlessly angry about it. I feel like I've failed.

I can’t sew at all but growing up watching my grandmother made me appreciate those who can. Right now I’m sitting with a small beautiful quilt keeping my legs warm, I bought it at an art fair a couple years ago, it’s all handmade and I appreciate it so much. I wish I could tell the artist how I 💗 it
