A free and democratic society cannot silence comedians because the President doesn’t like what they say.

This is an attack on free speech and cannot be allowed to stand.

All elected officials need to speak up and push back on this undemocratic act.

Some of us want some peace and quiet from the chaos, but the current leadership keeps beating the drums of civil war. A year ago I could say I love my country, now I don't know what to say anymore at all. This isn't the same America it was a year ago.
The leadership in the United States is finding ways to silence us for speaking the truth, a true violation of the 1st amendment as a response to something none of us had anything to do with.

Google Fiber outage update: We are back online after 66 hours and 30 minutes.

And my husband will likely be making a follow up call sometime this week regarding this entire debacle. What has taken place is unacceptable, and we will be continuing to follow up about it.
Google Fiber outage update: 63¾ hours. Called customer service. They told me to do our process with Google Payments (like we were informed 63¾ hours ago). Informed them we already have and Google Payments has indicated completion on our part. I am still in limbo, and now waiting for a callback.
Google Fiber outage update: 63 hours. Still no internet. There was mention over the phone last night that we would see service restored by the morning. If not, we should call. But I know what to expect, we're going to be told to wait again. I'm so stressed, waking up every 2 hours, and barely slept.
Google Fiber outage update: 54½ hours and my spouse called, I walked in the door with him on the phone. It appears we won't have internet back today. We might not be getting it back tomorrow morning either.

There are no more account issues. There are no more reasons why our service should be off.
Google Fiber outage update: 54 hours, we were informed 4 hours ago that we would have our service back within 3 to 6 hours. It is now 4 hours. I am not optimistic in 2 hours we will have service back.
50 hours into our Google Fiber outage. The Google Payment issue resolved fully 5 hours ago, but our internet did not come back. We called Google Fiber 2 hours ago, informed we would have up to 6 more hours before it's back on. I'm worried 4 hours will come and go and nothing will happen. Exhausted.
Google Fiber update. 39 hours, no internet. I woke up this morning to replies to my reddit thread where people are making me feel like a piece of crap. This has now reached an entirely new level of affecting me negatively. I might need my anxiety medication to sedate myself all day & I'm depressed.
At this point I'm thinking I could get a different ISP before Google actually resolves this nonsensical billing dispute. I heard the words 1 to 7 days for them to review our submitted documentation. If it's more than 2 (past tomorrow), I'm absolutely done.
We're about to enter the 3rd day of our Google Fiber outage. I have nothing more to say except this is the most disappointing thing that my once favorite internet provider has done, and I may never trust them to keep our internet up consistently up ever again. It's like turning a utility off.
I've talked to Google Fiber once more and now have an escalation with Google Payments. My sister in law is visiting and needs internet to work from our home on Monday. We are running a risk of having a major problem Google will not resolve timely. The chance of canceling service is increasing.
I informes Google Fiber when they escalated my case to email me regarding any missing information or anything needed. My husband got an email this morning, I did not get one. They want to verify MY identity through my husband. And it appears my internet will not be restored for another 24 hours.
Update on Google Fiber situation: 7PM (27 hours into outage): It has become evident that Google Payments and Google Fiber could be a metaphorical left and right hand respectively, and the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.
If our internet remains down well into tomorrow, the only thing that will bring us back from switching ISPs is if we are provided a discount or compensation for this unnecessary outage. The communication on the suspension was only through email, other means should have been attempted before shutoff.
To add to my previous thread what I wanted to say earlier (or just reiterating if I have already said it): Internet is no longer a vanity, it is a necessity.
The rep at Google Fiber informed me that they see service restoration in a few hours. We will see.

I made it aware that I eat the cost on work downtime caused from my end as I will not be paid for it, so any further outages during my work hours will be absolutely unacceptable.
Update on Google Fiber situation: 3PM (23 hours since outage) and still no internet. Since our outage is not related to service disruption or non-payment, I've informed a rep at Google Fiber that if internet is not restored by tomorrow, I am already ready to pull the trigger on switching ISPs.
