I don’t want to hype it up TOO much but I think I’ve discovered the next evolution in EDH content. I’m about to revolutionize the game.

Pioneer is/was so awesome. The 2023 pro tour that Reid Duke won with Izzet Indomitable Creativity was my introduction to the format and I had a ton of fun playing it. My favorite constructed deck ever (5c enigmatic fires) had a home there and is unplayable everywhere else which makes me very sad.
Is Pioneer essentially a dead Magic format at this point?

A last minute donation actually just brought us to over $2k ❤️
The FNMTG/TAGC/Things in the Ice charity drive for Gaza Soup Kitchen came to a close yesterday. Our communities raised just over $1800 for Palestine 🇵🇸 ❤️ 💪 it was amazing seeing our communities come together to support a good cause!

i don't feel like magic set surveys usually have this question and i don't appreciate the implication that content creators, who do so so much for the game, are possibly to blame for a bad set's poor performance. 👎

2025 has been awful for a lot of reasons (world events and such) but on a personal level it’s been a pretty good year for me so far. Channel will be hitting 5k soon, plenty of cool shows, 8 books down so far, really good year for new music, fiancé and I travelled together a lot & still more planned

controversial opinion: i like magic: the gathering even tho the choices being made right now aren't my favorites. it's still one of the best games ever made and designed and i've made so many incredible friends because of it. it's the capitalism that's bad, not the game :3

I’m also not a UB hater by any means, I’ve actively praised some of the sets (FF, LotR, Evil Dead) I just feel like they’re also kind of a novelty and the quantity of UB products released is going to cause UB to cannibalize itself.

I guess a good way to sum up my last post would be “is there a feeling of indifference from more folks about doubling back to an IP for a second go? If so is that indicative of a poor outlook for the future of UB and is this a bubble that may pop as hype dies/popular IPs to adapt start to run out?”
