If the Trump administration and USDA Secretary Rollins really want to improve government efficiency and eliminate waste, farm subsidy reform must be the priority. We need farm subsidies that benefit farmers, communities, and taxpayers and protect our planet, health, and food system.
The U.S. spends over $20B annually on farm subsidies that feed the pockets of a few large agriculture corporations and a cycle of overproduction, waste, and industrial processes that harm our communities, our health, and the environment.
