There is so much concern and anger over the 100 billion budget for feeding people in need, yet the same angry people do not bat an eye at the Trillions being handed to Oligarchs. The ease at which a population can be distracted away from real issues is mind boggling.

For every other first nation, it is truly bizarre watching so many U.S.citizens fight vigilantly to maintain a healthcare system where getting hurt or sick means going into great financial debt, if you are "lucky" enough for that to be an option. Healthcare is a basic human right

Part of the problem is that the MAGA lies have gone unchallenged for so long (particularly by media) that they essentially get to make up their own reality on the spot and their followers take it for gospel without question

I just don't understand why they need to take people down as if they are hardened criminals. At worst they overstayed a visa, a minor infraction at best. It is like catching someone Jay walking and having the Swat team roll up on them, with pepper spray, tasers and tear gas.

Add to that, one of the few benefits of a Tariff, which is to force better trade deals, is just not happening. Hoping to sell those Florida oranges for more, to your trade partners? Well, you indicated you are not a safe trading partner, so now they are buying oranges from Spain instead.

Certainly does not help that they are in no way trained for this type of operation. It is like taking someone that has a First Aid course and having them do the roll of an RN in an emergency room. Close enough, they are both medical-ish 🤷‍♂️

Their hope is probably that starving people will riot and blame the Democrats. Recent history has shown that this will in fact, not be the case as it is obvious for even hard core Republicans who is to blame.
