The chances of making money out of YouTube are....slim - outside of certain topic types and treating it like a sales pipeline, which isn't happening on either front.

Despite all the channels advising to the contrary.
Hoh I have no problem with being given questions in advance I think it makes sense.
God I can't remember the last desktop / landline phone either it was more the wacky response other than hello.
Creeping towards the first rung of the monetisation ladder.

It's the first line so it's minor. Hell even. The true line means I'd probably be able to buy a mars bar a year..

..it's the progress / audience /connection not the money.
Remember when you used to pickup the office phone and announce your name as one of the first things you did?

You might even go name and job title.

Now....seems weird.
Apparently a job interview can move to being given the questions and recording yourself.

Having time with the questions is interesting but I get all that YouTube time might help in the future haha.

Also, interview via a voiced AI. Yeesh.
It's sort of like when everyone is fake special no one is fake special god damnit!!!
This always happened on social media but now the inauthentic wisdom and insight is available to everyone.

The weird thing is both the consumers and producers of it are lapping it up.

Remember..... /end

It's funny. 'Wisdom' is now available at the expense of a ChatGTP prompt.

You can see it in social media posts every so often - glances at Linkedin. It's the illusion of being insightful.

A small example of the future - inherited Wisdom and Insight /1
People do realise when they say scheme and play the game that historically that person has almost never been the actual winner?

It really isn't that sort of 'gamer' reality show as the US would say.

These types of people can't help but psychologically project how they think on others.
That final little exchange between Zelah and Sam just about sums Sam up now. Calling Cameron nosy?? That's certainly the least charitable way you could interpret his behaviour. At least Zelah pushed back. Sam had so much potential, and has turned out to be so rubbish. #bbuk
So much psychological projection going on by some people in the house it is nuts.

I think Tate bought a chicken but was imagining a Turkey.

Yeah I played a soldier all through Mass Effect on both plays and used the others largely as occasionally power users.
People listening or watching old stuff for the first time are often amazing.

I tend to fall down the rabbit hole of people watching 'old' films for the first time.

The last one was Wrath of Khan.
I have no idea if it's true but I hope Jenny has passed codes between herself and her mother in her phone call as that would be epic.

Like super bombshell epic so it probably isn't.

Keep in mind when I say I found it easy I also just hit auto-level with a few exceptions each time I levelled so I put zero build science thought into anything.
95% of the time I let the team mates get in with it beyond triggering here odd power or on the odd fight setting them in cover positions.
I am terrible at FPS and I found it fine but I am a very cover-based person when approaching these things.

I realise people have different skill levels but the combat was rarely a challenge other than the odd boss.

Tended to find small set of tech / psychic skills useful.
I survive best in consultancy / collaborative environments if it becomes people or demand management heavy - especially if that demands stops being longitudinal and is like day or hour focused..

..I am done.
Exactly. The only thing that has disrupted that is being given a team and the publicly owned change.

Which is annoying.
I am in a how do I navigate the next ten years of my career while not making crazy shifts and also not ending up in corporate middle management crises.

That seems to be the crux of it.
Yeah I think I mean it physically rather than mental outlook.

I guess I didn't help in that by using an urban dictionary example as a joke.
I don't see this as a mindset thing I see it mostly as a physical thing .

I am lucky to be able to do anything I want at 54 I could do at 35 but I am aware this will end at some point and it's likely to be in the next ten years potentially.
