The great thing about musical instruments appearing in social media is that at least that way, it’ll never lead to violins.

If anyone needs me I will be in the museum, lying down next to the bog bodies.
Did people really memorize phone numbers before cell phones, or is that just a movie thing?
2? Questions
I was watching some old shows from the 90s and noticed people would just dial numbers from memory - like they'd call their friends or family without looking anything up.
Made me wonder if that was actually normal back then? Did people genuinely have all their important numbers memorized, or did most folks keep a little address book or written list nearby?

The analysis from #AncestryDNA is more granular for my family, although there do appear to be some oddities - remember it is a roulette, meaning that some DNA gets rolled in, some gets rolled out with each generation.

Here's my testers' 2023 vs 2025. #DNA #genealogy

DNA bringing home the answers again. #OperationIdentifyMe sounds like a great piece of collaborative policing, and I'm pleased that it's bringing answers to the families of missing people.

DNA has been used to identify a Jane Doe believed murdered in the early 1900s. The body of Alice Spence (nee Burke) was found in a well in Saskatoon in 2006. She left behind a young daughter, but apparently descendants had no idea of the drama in their family history. #Genealogy
Her name was Alice Spence: DNA identifies century-old Saskatoon body of 'woman in the well'
After a decades-long investigation into mysterious historical remains, 'the woman in the well' finally has her name again.
