It feels like there’s more of a flow on the back half of the album whereas the front end is kinda stumbling over itself. Another fabulous opener tho like that man knows how to set a tone. Anyways, I will be listening a couple more times and I’ve kinda already figured out my faves

The singles (except End of Summer, which I didn’t like till my 2nd full album listen) sound so out of place? Like they def got me hyped for the album and I’ve been playin tf outta them but they feel like one-off songs idk. There’s not as clear a narrative on this record unlike the others

I’ve listened to the new Tame Impala album twice already so here’s my review that nobody asked for:

it’s… okay. Good, but okay. Very interesting direction he’s gone in but it still feels undeniably Kevin. The second half of the album is definitely better than the first

At the Chicago area ICE detention center in Broadview this morning.

These aren't detention vans—they're vehicles full of Illinois State Police. Local cops are staging for a morning of protest.

Supposedly, demonstrators will be banned from 25th St today. Fence on Beach came down a few days ago.
