Leaving a high-control religious group can be profoundly difficult. Many people have been raised to believe that anyone outside the group is dangerous, hostile, or morally corrupt, making the process of stepping away feel isolating and overwhelming. @faith2faithless.bsky.social.

High-control religious groups suppress questioning and dissent. The human tragedy is that this culture of control can tear families apart. This is the 'conditional love' experience by so many people who leave. @faith2faithless.bsky.social

We support people leaving high-control religious groups through @faith2faithless.bsky.social. This is vital work. Leaving can be an extremely isolating experience – and we’re here to make sure no one has to face it alone. We help people rebuild their lives, find community, and feel understood.

Important: these videos are increasingly convincing, and will only become more convincing. They're designed to instill fear into the ex-religious. AI gives would-be televangelists a tool to fabricate 'miracles' in a way previously impossible. Beware, and exercise sceptical criticism.
This is AI. It's fake. It's fictional.

This is the new world of AI-Evangelism.

It's manipulative, disingenuous, and predatory.

It targets older, vulnerable people who won’t know the difference – aiming to convert through deception for views and ad revenue.

Ex-cult followers or leavers from high-control religions can have so little interaction with the outside world, they quite literally cannot cope with a supermarket because they've never been and the choice is overwhelming.
