To get consistently cooperative politics requires an electoral system that ensures that the percent of the votes cast for a party is reflected in the percentage of the seats that party receives. The great majority of democracies use some form of proportional representation.

What: This demonstration election is an event that’s been held a number of times as a way to get people interested and educated about electoral reform. We want to polish it up and make it better with your help.
Why: We are developing a demonstration election event and we need your help!
Who: You, and any other PR-interested friends you’d like to invite.
When: 1:30–3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 7th
