Reminder: Any blue MAGA that says "perfect is the enemy of good" is saying it's a good thing that Democrats are allying with Republicans in the matter of the 3.5 million trans people in the USA.

It's an anti-trans dogwhistle showing support for Holocaust levels of genocide.
I hate that I don't even have to know who that is to know the type. Scratch a liberal and a fascist bleeds.

Re: every headline involving education
A 4 panel comic.

Panel 1: closeup of a new textbook on a kid's school desk. The cover reads "World Histeries - sponcored bye PragerU + OpenAI"

Panel 2: The kid opens the book. Page titles include "How slavery boosted the enconemy" and "12 reasons hitler wasn't wrong" along with an ad that reads "more with a pragerU subscription and another that says "10% off openAI" with a QR code.

Panel 3: the kid looks up at the teacher, lifts the book, and says "what the fuck is this"

Panel 4: an exhausted teacher, still passing out a stack of the books, replies "your senator picked it"

more chairs need to be designed to accommodate large tails
Duë: As a six-tailed kitsune, I overwhelmingly support this idea.
And she probably is. For the first time in her life, she's able to have her five minutes of fame among her misogynist peers instead of the spotlight only going to her husband. She likely doesn't even care that it's only happening because she's able to be used as a tool to further the misogyny.

I just wanna be able to boot a game, max out the textures and other VRAM-related stuff, and turn down shadows and other processing-intensive stuff. Why? Because I can.
Rather, I just want one because I'm a tech fairy and I love to tinker and that thing lets you allocate *so much* RAM to the iGPU. 128GB of system RAM means you can put 96 GB towards the iGPU.

That would be beneficial for AI if I believed in that crap, but I don't, so screw that.
Duë fronting. I'm thinking about Strix Halo again. I would love to have a laptop or minicomputer with one, tbh. Not because it's a thing I can game on. I mean, I can, but the experience won't beat our new 9060 XT.

This is dark. But also, this display of solidarity on the part of the pentagon press corps should be a model for dealing with the regime
“The Defense Department has confiscated the badges of the Pentagon reporters from virtually every major media organization in America,” the Pentagon Press Association said

Oct. 15, 2025
PENTAGON PRESS ASSOCIATION
STATEMENT
Today, the Defense Department confiscated the badges of the Pentagon reporters from virtually every major media organization in America. It did this because reporters would not sign onto a new media policy over its implicit threat of criminalizing national security reporting and exposing those who sign it to potential prosecution.
The Pentagon Press Association's members are still committed to reporting on the U.S. military. But make no mistake, today, Oct. 15, 2025 is a dark day for press freedom that raises concerns about a weakening U.S. commitment to transparency in governance, to public accountability at the Pentagon and to free speech for all.

Hakeem Jeffries posted pictures of two Rep. Members posing with “Young Republicans” who were part of a racist text thread (as reported by Politico).

In response, Mike Davis (well-connected in Trump World & on the Hill) called Jeffries a “house slave” for George Soros - proving Jeffries’ point.

Too many liberals pretending to be antifascists out here desperately trying to continue arguing over definitions (and being objectively wrong) instead of actually fighting fascism.
This is one of those cases where they're right, but for the wrong reasons.

They don't wanna honor the cops because they were the ones trying to overthrow the government.

We don't wanna honor the cops because they aided and fucking took pictures with the insurrectionists. They're on the same team.
House Republicans, under Speaker Mike Johnson, have refused to install a plaque honoring the police officers who defended the Capitol on January 6, 2021.

The plaque was mandated by a bipartisan law passed in 2022 and was completed and ready for installation, but it remains in storage.
Mike Johnson: "We've always stood with Capitol police and law enforcement. We've shown that in word and deed."
lmao. The first Talking Heads livestream I'm gonna be able to watch live ends up being episode 404. The irony.
iheart might've changed policies due to the UK's bullshit age verification law and being too small to guarantee users' safety. They wouldn't be the first we've seen to just block the UK as a whole due to that.

After all, if Discord can't keep their UK users safe, who can?
I understand why most people don't stand up to these bullies. They can't afford to. I'm not shitting on them for that.

Rather, those who *can* afford to are usually more silent on the matter than those who can't, and so seeing someone do what Steve did earns so much respect from me.
It's hard for me not to idolize him after his documentary got taken down due to a bullshit copyright claim and he flew to Bloomberg's office to talk to them in person - and made another video out of it, to boot.

“The video is very short, making it clear that the choice of lyrics was the intentional focus. Viewers are obviously meant to hear the antisemitic aspects, since it’s more or less the only audio in the 13 seconds being presented. “
