Rosenbaum, the catalyst, was clearly looking for trouble but you're choosing to ignore it.

The self-defense laws in Japan share the same standards/principles as the US.

You're placing all the blame on Rittenhouse when the evidence clearly proved that Rosenbaum, Huber & Grosskreutz carried out an unprovoked attack on Kyle who was clearly armed.

There was no evidence presented during the trial to corroborate your claim.
Otherwise, PROVE IT.

Once again. WI is an open carry state & Kyle was amongst 100's of people who were similarly armed. He was no more conspicuous than everyone else.
Rosenbaum had no legal right to disarm Kyle. The fact that you admit that Rosenbaum attempted to disarm Kyle confirms his claim of self-defense.

Rosenbaum had no reason to suddenly attack, chase & grab for Kyle's rifle. After Rosenbaum's 2 violent threats to Kyle earlier that's certainly a reasonable belief of imminent death or great bodily harm.

He told Kyle, "If I catch you ALONE I’m going to fucking kill you & rip your heart out."
Later, he surprised Kyle (who was ALONE) from behind a car, chased him & lunged for the rifle.

That's a realistic & reasonable threat.

When Rosenbaum attacked Kyle, he was running to extinguish a car fire.
This fact was undisputed at trial & acknowledged by ADA Binger.
