FACHRS will be present at the following show, and Lois and Terry would be delighted if members popped in to say hello, or non-members would like a chat about what we offer as a society.

Getting busy with Transported Female #Convicts of #Westminster project; our major exhibition will be end of the year and we are planning on two tables at London Family History Show this October. So exciting! This was us last year with a very crowded table; we had to rotate our items and the bonnets!

Target achieved! A total of £10,000 has been pledged and will be used to match-fund contributions made during the next phase of the Free UK #Genealogy fundraising campaign, between December 2nd and 9th 2025 (when donations of any amount can be made).
Screen grab from a page on The Big Give website, showing the total amount of the pledges made towards Free UK Genealogy's goal of £10,000 (towards the costs of setting up a website with free probate records) has hit the target.

Reposting for the morning crowd, as Law's sites contain a treasure trove of useful historical research. Based on his own statement, I'd suggest a Creative Commons licence of CC BY-NC 4.0 would be applicable to his research.
