Yeah, the 70s seem to be a great year for japanese pinocchio adaptations. Besides the '72 series, there was also the '76 series as well. (The vid below is the OP and ED for '76 anime)

So, I played the infamous Maken X finally, a couple days ago. And I will say, it's batshit insane a game made 3-4 years before I was born was predicting what's going on right now...!! Other than the eh at best voicing acting and the cutscenes, twas a good game. :>

Like for example, I have a cousin who's half rican and half mongolian and when she threw a party for my graduation. She had a full-on meltdown in front of me, my dad and my other cousin's all because I came out to her. I only did that because I did got a bit annoyed she kept referring to me as male
