It’s strange to me that people who understand why using the word “crusade” is no longer acceptable, who understand how dress codes and other seemingly innocuous things can enable exclusion of black people and other minorities, but somehow can’t wrap their head around their own dog whistles…

This one is an interesting game. It was made by DMA Design after Lemmings, but their design of the little guys in this inspired the Lemmings concept.

It’s a pretty entertaining gallery shooter with left-right movement which stretches thin because of its long length. Solid game though. Unique.

There’s something inspiring about those 8-bit pins when they’re good, right? The physics I think are probably pretty simple. It’s been a bucket list item of mine too to make something like that.

I bet you could make a game like NARC that plays much better. It’s basically a belt scrolling run n gun and we never really saw this concept again. One big hurdle though is it needs to be easier to judge where projectiles are going, or the enemies need to be less reliant on them.

Oh I love Daytona’s torque-based gear drifting, but it’s not as good in auto. Scud Race seems pretty straightforward, from memory. I got pretty decent at it.
